"I love Atlanta and the historic neighborhoods in the 6th District. From Peachtree to Ponce de Leon, we have thriving small businesses, walkable neighborhoods, and beautiful parks and greenspaces. But, we also have challenges like serious traffic congestion, intrusive commercial development, and roads and sidewalks in desperate need of repair to name a few..
Atlanta is one of the five fastest growing cities in the country. I'm running for City Council so District 6 residents have an opportunity to shape this growth and decide how it will affect our neighborhoods. Any new developments should enhance the character of our neighborhoods and the things we love about our community. I’m committed to making sure there is broad community input into development decisions so that we have smart and responsible growth that makes our neighborhoods stronger.
We also need to make sure that growth means increased opportunities for our residents. Hard working people like teachers and public safety officers need to be able to afford to live in the City and share in the prosperity that growth brings.
As your City Council representative, I’ll make sure that what’s great about Atlanta doesn't get lost as we grow."

"Atlanta is on the precipice of significant growth. While growth can sometimes feel unsettling, growth also brings an opportunity to shape our future.
Jennifer will be a strong, effective voice on the Atlanta City Council to represent the vibrant, diverse residents of District 6 and turn our progressive values into action.
End Transportation Gridlock. We need a better mix of public transit options and streetscape designs that make walking and biking safer, reduce cut-through traffic, and make school zones safer for our children.
Protect Neighborhoods and Greenspaces. We need a transparent approach to development that supports historic preservation, includes more opportunities for public input, and holds developers accountable.
Promote Greater Equity. Atlanta has to do a better job facilitating the creation of affordable housing and opportunities for socio-economic mobility. Our continued progress depends on it.
Restore Trust in City Government. Let's make the City's finances searchable on line so citizens can hold elected leaders accountable.
